Drew Bledsoe is my hero because he plays
football. He is the QB for the Pats. I like football, I play center for the
Cambridge Warriors, a Pop Warner football team. I think he risks his life
playing football. If the line doesn't block, 250lb - 300 lb tacklers can break
through the line & hit him full force. In order for him to get hurt, he has to
get sacked a number of times in a row, also if he gets hit the wrong way he
could get hurt very badly, he could possibly die.
When he is on game shows, he donates the money
he wins to the local charities. Bledsoe has his own foundation that he set up
himself. The foundation goes city to city, helping parents be good parents. The
foundation has products like books & tapes. Mac Bledsoe, (Drew's dad), runs the
foundation. Drew Bledsoe donates money to after school programs,
sports & programs to keep kids off the streets. Drew get a lot of
PopWarner teams asking if he will sponsor them.
So you can see that he is a good person. Here's
a little summary: good guy, has a charity foundation, donates money to help kids
& their families.
I try to be like my hero, by helping my school
raise money & helping others.

Drew, this story was written during
the first week of school Sept. 01, prior to your injury. John Sullivan is age
12, he attends the Morse School in Cambridge. You're still his hero, as well as
many others.
